My first class starts in one hour

I have a metaphorical apple for the teacher (i.e. my smiling face) and am ready to go. I spent the weekend in diligent study. I'm going to learn, learn, learn until my eyes bleed. Then I'm going to have a successful, exciting, fulfilling, meaningful and happy life.

What is this?

Welcome! This blog chronicles the busiest 22 months of my life -- when I pursued an MBA at Yale despite having no background in business. The experience gave me a lot to write about, and I did so regularly until signing off on graduation day in 2011. Since then, I've posted annual updates for anyone who might be interested.

My highest hope was that sharing my stories and reflections might help others understand what business school is really like, and decide whether it was right for them. I always enjoyed hearing from strangers, and still do! Email me here if you're so inclined.
